how do I get EPA approval on a wood burning stove made by a manufurer that is no longer in bsn.?
The stove was manufactured by Contemporary Stove works, Inc. in davis Ca. It appears that they are no longer in bsn. I cannot get EPA approval without info from manufacturer. But I do have serial no. & modle No. Does anyone have any ideas that won’t cost me a lot, as I am a sr. citizan and can’t afford much. It’s a small stove used to heat the garage in the winter when some one is working on a car. Thanks
You probably can’t do it. Contact the state air office in your state. If the stove was not approved when made, it probably does not meet the standard, but you have to ask in your state.
